EtherSC connects the SCSI port of a Mac+ directly to Ethernet. Price: $1250 Fastpath connects Appletalk and Ethernet. Price: $2500 Etherport SE is an internal Ethernet controller board for the SE. It goes for $850. For most of the products, It says that software exists that allow you to connect the SE (with board) to DEC VAX/VMS, UNIX, and TCP/IP networking systems. One piece of software that looks interesting is MacNIX/Net from a company called Eurosoft. Supposedly, UNIX file systems and commands are mapped into icons, pull-down menus, and dialog boxes. You could copy files between your host and mac by dragging a file icon. If anyone has info on this package, please send me e-mail. ------- ------- Brian M.
