I've seen reference somewhere here about a MacDraw file showing how to make the SE's fan quieter. From what I recall, someone said that R31 on the analog board should be replaced with a resistor between 4.7 and 47 ohms. I interpreted that to mean that R31 is now 4.7 ohms and it should be replaced by a 47 ohm jobbie. Can anyone confirm or deny this? The noise is driving me nuts! I can only use the SE when the LaserWriter is on, too. I'd be happy to summarize any mailed responses for the net.
