Does anyone know of a nice way to add dots and doubledots to characters (indicating time derivatives) that will print on the LaserWriter? Something like the way umlauts can be added to vowels (option-u, vowel) would be marvelous. I have edited fonts in the past to add special characters like this, which works fine on the screen or ImageWriter; and this would work for the LaserWriter (I suppose) if you do not use a LaserWriter font (and no substitution). Will equation formatters, like MacEqn, do this? Easily? Could I get that in writing? :-) Thanks. -- Cliff Loucks ucbvax!unmvax!sandia!intvax!loucks Sandia National Labortories, Albuquerque, New Mexico
