AISYS4.2) for a serious un*x box purchase, along with un*x boxen from other vendors. [For example, from SUN, we are considering a 280 + lotsa mem + lotsa disk...] I would therefore appreciate some objective reviews, comments, benhmark results etc. from those who have access to a new RT with AISYS4.2, and also has access to other powerful un*x boxen, such as SUNs, Pyramids, Sequents, Hps, whatever. I would especially appreciate as much detail in your comments/reviews/etc. simply because we do not have access to this machine: all IBM Canada could provide is an OLD RT (gag!). Any comments etc. on IBM's response/support level for the hardware/software is also appreciated. thnx.. oz Unix/Vms Support Team Dept. of Computing Services -- Creativity Usenet: [decvax|ihnp4]!utzoo!yetti!oz never goes anything!seismo!mnetor!yetti!oz unpunished.
