I'm surethat this has been asked many times before, so please
just send the answer to me and don't clog the net and bore the
experts!!!!

I understand that TeX is public domain software, and that one 
can send a tape somewhere to get it...Where do I send my tape?
Where can I get information on this?

What is the story on LaTex?  Is that public domain too, or do
I have to buy it?  If so, where?

I am looking for both of these for both VAXes and SUNs....
