The word list from the American Heritage Dictionary is available on magtape. Look up the publisher in the dictionary and give 'em a call. The tape includes the capitalization, syllabication, and stress symbols from the dictionary. In fact, it looks like it was generated directly from the typesetter input. A friend had to convert the character set it arrived in, to the local (APL) character set, and noticed a few glyphs that only occurred once or twice. When he looked in the printed dictionary, indeed there was a little centered square there rather than the usual centered dot! ---------------------------------------- Submissions to: desktop%plaid@sun.com -OR- sun!plaid!desktop Administrivia to: desktop-request%plaid@sun.com -OR- sun!plaid!desktop-request Paths: {ihnp4,decwrl,hplabs,seismo,ucbvax}!sun Chuq Von Rospach chuq@sun.COM Delphi: CHUQ Now, where did my ex-wife put my Fairy Dust?
