I have been blessed (for want of a better word) with being a test node for the citadel<-->uucp gateway (Citadel is a popular BBS that runs on IBM-PC, Atari ST, Amiga, CP/M, etc). The link seems to be working OK for mail, but I have seen one persistent problem that doesn't seem to want to go away. Every time a Citadel system calls up my Unix system and starts up uucico, I get duplicate entries for every action in my log file...i.e. two lines that say OK (Startup), then two lines that are completely identical saying REQUEST (..), then two conversation complete, etc. Sorry, can't remember the exact format, but you get my drift. Any ideas on why this is happening? All the other systems that poll me leave perfectly normal log entries. -Todd Burkey ..ihnp4!meccts!stag!trb
