That is, I have no problems booting up using the B/2 sequence from the console, but it will not automatically reboot. I am running 4.2bsd; we have one ra81 disk drive. Recently the drive had to be reformatted; so we did a complete back-up and restore sequence. I thought that the boot stuff was put on when I used newfs, but apparently not. When it refused to boot itself (after a crash -- the reset button didn't help either), I then used the installboot command installboot raboot bootra /dev/rra0a No good. The 'poweron' switch is on boot... Running fsck on all file systems, and they all check out fine. I would really appreciate suggestions! Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks in advance.
