I goofed. /etc/comsat is supposed to be run by /etc/inetd. But why when I have "biff y" set am I not getting notified of new mail when I get it. When I do a "lastcomm", /etc/comsat has never been run. I have entries for comsat in both /etc/services and /etc/inetd.conf. What could be wrong? Thanks. Jon eichelbe@NADC.ARPA
