WHY do we have to bend over and grovel to the almighty americans?

WHAT is to stop us from setting up a Canadian uunet?

Is anyone from /usr/group/toro -- I mean /usr/group/cdn listening?
If USENIX can sponsor this in the US, I see no reason why the
Canadian /usr/group's can't get together and do the same.
