Waterloo, Ontario Lines: 22 Xref: utgpu ont.jobs:224 junk:5256 I want some floating point packages written (or I wish to buy some already written ones) and thus I am looking for somebody with experience in doing such work. A good knowledge of the 8086 architechture is also essential, because speed is the most important thing here. In particular I want: a) The fastest FP package on Earth for the 8086. Give up accuracy for speed any day. Byte normalized if you want. (This is where a knowledge of well tuned assembler coding is important) b) An IEEE floating point conforming package -- ie. one that gives the same results as the 8087 chip. Speed not as crucial here, but still important. optionally, c) A BCD package. If you have the talent for this sort of work, give me a call at 519/884-7473. -- Brad Templeton, Looking Glass Software Ltd. - Waterloo, Ontario 519/884-7473
