The seismo!mnetor X.25 uucp link is not working well.
It was completely down for several days and has come
up only briefly.  mnetor!ron is not sure why it's stopped
working; nothing has changed at that end.

News flow to Toronto is coming through the backup link,
clyde!watmath!water!utgpu (!utzoo!mnetor), so we're still
getting news here, albeit a day or two later than the
seismo link.

Mail is another story. All kinds of mail is pending at
both ends of that link. People who have sent mail from
the U.S. to Toronto and environs and haven't had replies
should assume their mail may still be stuck in transit.
