As we add uucp connections, this is becoming a somewhat inconvenient way to do things. My question is, what is the cheapest kind of phone line to get (if there is any choice)? I would not want the phone number listed, and I would not want a handset. As TM Software is operated out of my home, a personal line is an option, but I would prefer not (to simplify book-keeping). The $50/month standard business line seems awfully expensive for this purpose. I ask this question because I have no confidence that anyone at Bell knows how the fare structure works, let alone whether they would tell me of a cheaper alternative to the standard line (this opinion formed from past experience).
