Hello crazy world.

If CBS really is so stupid to introduce this 3800 Hz notch filter
nonsens then I will install a CBS notch filter in my brain.

No sane person can actually believe that a narrow band notch filter
in the audio range will result in TOP quality sound. And THAT is
one of the main goals with CD.

Don't do anything stupid CBS. Please. You can ruin the whole CD idea.
CD has a reputation to produce extraordinary good sound. This filter
thing can make people uncertain.
