That is, we don't want to hang surge-suppression strips or boxes off individual wall receptacles; we want one strip, or set of receptacles, with this feature built in. I have checked catalogues and called several manufacturers of surge protectors; no one has an off-the-shelf product of this design. I'm expecting a return call from the surge-protection person at UL. If you know of such a product, please reply. Suggestions about how to determine the existence of such a product are also welcome.
