Summary: [] I suppose that if they do go ahead with this 3800Hz notch filter, pre-recorded DAT offerings will be superior to pre-recorded CD offerings (unless they notch the DAT recordings too). If this is the case then the CD industry will suffer a loss of sales. Does anyone know what the Q of the notch filter might be? The prospect is not a pleasant one... -anees -- Anees Munshi @ University of Toronto Engineering.
