I've just been asked to do a workshop the title of which is:
"Evaluating Hardware and Software for DBMS Applications Development"
If you were to step into such a seminar, what would you expect it
to cover and contain?  Please feel free to reply by mail so as not
to clutter the conference.  If I get alot of interest, I will
summarize here.
