I've so far considered the Panasonic EB-362 (7lbs., $1300), and the Audiovox CMT-1400 (9.5lbs., $1400). For monthly airtime charges, the best I've been able to get is $16/mo. + $0.20/min. for the first 200 min. I'd like to know what experiences you've had with these or any other so-called "transportable" cellular phones, as well as monthly charges to operate them, roaming, etc. Please reply directly to me via e-mail.
