After installing Gnu emacs, on my workstation running X, I discovered
the following weird problem. I could use it with X as root, but as a
regular user, it just hung going into emacs. Naturally I thought it
was a protection problem, so I checked everything that I could think
of. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could have the wrong
protections, or what I have set up wrong?
