"template-mode" is a minor mode for GNU Emacs. Template-mode supports the creation and manipulation of templates of text. Templates are useful for boilerplate, idioms, or anything structural that has concrete syntax. Included in this package are templates for C, LaTeX, Pascal, Scribe, and a few other miscellaneous languages. My biggest regret in distributing template-mode is that it has not been adequately tested. It works fine for me, but I have not been able to generate large test scripts for it, yet. I expect to continue to work on this package at my new location. Please send comments, suggestions, bugs, etc. to: maa@sei.cmu.edu or Mark A. Ardis Software Engineering Institute 4500 Fifth Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15213 If you do not see this posting and want a copy of the package, send email to my new address after 8/24/87. -- Mark A.
