Message-ID: <130@ncrcpx.UUCP> Date: Thu, 13-Aug-87 12:21:22 EDT Article-I.D.: ncrcpx.130 Posted: Thu Aug 13 12:21:22 1987 Date-Received: Sat, 15-Aug-87 10:09:21 EDT Organization: NCR E&M, Cambridge OH Lines: 18 Keywords: TeX text processor System V Xref: mnetor comp.emacs:1630 comp.text:1063 I'm currently using Emacs and have found ALOT of references to the TeX text processor. A note in the manual says that TeX would work on system V if it had a reasonable Pascal compiler. From this I assume that its written in Pascal. I have the pascal compiler that comes from NCR for the Tower. I'm not sure who initially wrote it, but I know it wasn't NCR. What kind of a job would it be to port TeX to SysV, and would it be worth it? Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. -- R. Craig Peterson "Don't speak unkindly of the Gods... ihnp4!ncr-sd!ncrlnk!
