I'm currently using Emacs and have found ALOT of references to
the TeX text processor.  A note in the manual says that TeX would
work on system V if it had a reasonable Pascal compiler.  From
this I assume that its written in Pascal.

I have the pascal compiler that comes from NCR for the Tower.  I'm
not sure who initially wrote it, but I know it wasn't NCR.

What kind of a job would it be to port TeX to SysV, and would it
be worth it?

Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.
