Well here I am. I have emacs successfully installed on a Sun 3 but there is a slight hitch. When I exit emacs (control x control c) it leaves the cursor any old place on the screen rather than just scrolling up one line and having emacs gradually scroll away as I issue Unix commands. I have to clear the screen in order to make sense out of what I am typing. Before you flame me remember I am a novice and I have been very impressed by the courtesy and helpfulness I have found on the net.
