One thing that is worth noting. If the new AT driver does not work on your machine, try the following. 1. Shut the system down (after syncing) 2. Power down and then up again 3. Reboot MINIX 4. Run fsck from the initial menu 5. Now boot MINIX and try the hard disk. Running fsck initially calls the BIOS, which initializes the disk differently than MINIX. This seems to make MINIX work on the 8 MHz ATs. If you notice this effect too, please let me know. Andy Tanenbaum (ast@cs.vu.nl)
