Greetings,

To all who alswered me about my getting extremrly large numbers from 
MTH$RANDOM in fortran, thanks.

It seems that MTH$RANDOM must be declared as a REAL in the porgram because 
it begins with 'M' which is, by implicet definition an integer.  Usually I 
place an IMPLICIT NONE at the top of every program, if I had done it here, 
I would have found the problem at link time.
