I've written a program that forces a user to change his/her password at
login time.  It's been real helpful here - eliminating the 4-5 requests
a day to have a password reset ("I forgot to reset my password before I 
logged off...")  It even handles users who dial up, are forced to change
their password, but unplug the modem before it completes !  (Who's afraid
of VMS, anyway ?)
