They had 2 Kinetics boxes connecting two AppleTalks on one ether cable. They were running I believe the Kinetics UDP code. When this guy fired up chooser on his SE, the Zone names popped up in the bottom of the Chooser window. I am assuming that the gw code is doing this. I want to know how (according to inside appletalk, the gateway is responsible for maintaining zone names and handling the ZIP. I can't resimulate this using two Kboxes and the 2/87 KIP code.
