I find the following lines in term.c of ispell:

#ifdef SIGTTIN
	signal(SIGTTIN, oldttin);
	signal(SIGTTOU, oldttou);
	signal(SIGTSTP, oldtstp);
#endif

but I can't find any other use of 'oldttin', etc.!  What do these do?
I've commented them out, and it compiles correctly.  (I haven't been
able to run it yet, as I haven't gotten my hands on a dictionary.)
