Product: When creating NC-programs used for the machinery industry, people very often use function diagrams (similar to SADT-diagrams). To render this process automatic, we look for a graphic editor which allows the construction (incl. librarian) of new function symbols built up from known ones (e.g. a timer). After the creation of a complete function diagram - describing maybe the function of a robot controller - it should control consistency (wiring, ...). Then the diagram must be compiled to an assembly language whose structure is given by a (attributed?) grammar. Ideal environment (not condition!): IBM-AT + EGA-graphics running under MS-WINDOWS.
