I don't have the original article or the replies, but it sounded to me like
the poster was asking about a situation where you get the Workbench requestor
and cancel, then are *not* asked for Workbench when the DOS is looking for
subsequent commands. It seems like the system has decided that C: is no
longer available although if you put Workbench back in it will be searched.
This has happened to me before, although I couldn't duplicate it just now.
