I sent it in about 2 weeks ago and am waiting for the new one to arrive. I believe that the announcement said (I sent it back with my VISA # on it) that you can now make requesters with it, which is what made me want to get it, since I put gadgets in requesters but not in windows (which is what 1.1 was useful for).
