First, since the requests will surely come, the lead "." character can be changed to anything you want with the following: BLOAD EXECUTIONER,A$2000,TSYS POKE 9923,ASC("+") : REM where + is the character you want BSAVE EXECUTIONER,A$2000,TSYS. Sean's choice of the "#" is a good one and should not cause any problems, but then the "." should not have either... Thanks Morgan (!pro-sol!mdavis) for posting the source code. When using Executioner for posting to the net, please use the 6 bit mode. It provides the least expansion and eases the load on the net. Also, PLEASE test the file before you post it. Errors do happen and the short extra step of testing the executeable file will ensure that only good programs are posted. Lastly, try to avoid lengthly programs or those that have been recently posted. There has been much repetition on the net the last month or so. If you are a new reader, you might want to ask if a file has already been distributed before you post one of your favorites. If it is lengthy, offer it through mail as Mr. Sewall (sewall@uconnvm.bitnet) recently did. --- Larry Colton {ihnp4,pyramid,qantel}!ptsfa!pbhyd!lc Pacific * Bell San Diego
