I think the problem you are having may be related to a bug in the gs firmware. Set the max and min Ramdisk size to the same value to avoid this problem. You should not have to format the ram disk, nor should any of the other problems you describe be exhibited. If setting max and min to the same value doesn't solve the problem, have your hardware checked. Apple is supposed to release a new ROM soon for the gs that will fix many of the anoying problems (Ill wager that it adds a few new and wonderful bugs too!). Rick Fincher ranger@ecsvax
