Shugart drives have a white or silver tag (usually at the back of the drive) that contains this infomation. Here is the description by model number. SA400 - 180KB, 40 track, single-sided, full height 5.25" floppy disk drive SA410 - 360KB, 80 track, single-sided, full height 5.25" floppy disk drive SA450 - 360KB, 40 track, double-sided, full height 5.25" floppy disk drive SA455 - 360KB, 40 track, double-sided, half height 5.25" floppy disk drive SA460 - 720KB, 80 track, double-sided, full height 5.25" floppy disk drive SA465 - 720KB, 80 track, double-sided, half height 5.25" floppy disk drive SA475 - 1.2MB, 80 track, double-sided, half height 5.25" floppy disk drive Just to round out the list Shugart also sold two microfloppies: SA300 - 360KB, 80 track, single-sided, 1.62" high 3.5" Microfloppy disk drive SA350 - 720KB, 80 track, double-sided, 1.62" high 3.5" Microfloppy disk drive [Note: Capacities are typical formatted capacities.
