I seem to have seen something recently on this net about the 
KYOCERA KM1200 modem.

It is advertized by C.O.M.B. in adds for $79; they say list price
is about $300.

I would like to know anyone's experience with this modem for use with
Apple //e's.  I plan to use it with the Softerm II communications
package, which does not support this modem.  Does this Kyocera modem
emulate some other well-known modem, so the attributes for could be
substituted?
