The cables can be run from the system board out the back of the side service area and into the XM. The drive will have to have XM mounting plates made for it. Detach the tape backup and look at the mounting plate. You will need a nibbler tool to copy it. There is some software to change if the expansion drive is not identical to an ATT drive. You will need a copy of the "devtools" diskette to format the drive. I done this many times. I will be happy to help.
