There is a nuisance level bug in the v2.5 shutdown script.  When you
run it it complains about being unable to find "cut" and "tr".  If
you will su or log in as root, chmod /etc/fsanck to 755 and change
line 21 to prepend "cut" and "tr" with "/usr/bin/" you won't have to
go find and remove the core dump.  The bug doesn't hurt anything, in
fact the fsanck was a good idea, it's just the PATH won't work within
the quoted string as written.
