Message-ID: <672@cblpf.ATT.COM> Date: Sun, 16-Aug-87 13:41:06 EDT Article-I.D.: cblpf.672 Posted: Sun Aug 16 13:41:06 1987 Date-Received: Sun, 16-Aug-87 23:01:10 EDT Organization: Columbus, Ohio Lines: 18 I just got the Pocket Writer 2 for my C128. It has a spell checker but it does not include a dictionary. You are expected to create your own. I have no problem with that but there method of creating your own is answering A to add EVERY WORD you come across not in the dictionary. A nice feature but insane if you are starting out with a null dictionary. I could of course buy their Pocket Dictionay 128/64 which comes with 32k words on disk. Besides feeling a little ripped off I would prefer to know the file format of their dictionary to write a small program to merge my own word lists. Anyone have experience with this? Thanks in advance. AT&T Bell Laboratories David A. Roth Columbus, Ohio uucp: cbosgd!cblpf!dar
