We would like to use our current software which can be transfered from our current RSTS/E PDP11/73 to VMS. We have talked to several DEC OEMs on possible configurations for our new systems and have received different answers to the same questions!! We would like to use the following configuration MicroVax II BA-123 16 MB of RAM 4 RD-54 fixed disk drives 4 DHV-11M communications boards TK-50 tape drive Some OEMs say it is ok to put all these drives into the machine, others say it will not work internally, some would have to go into external cabinets. Now, which version is correct? Please include any other hints and tips you might have on our desired configuration. -- Michael Duebner UUCP : ...ihnp4!ddsw1!michael (Help is only a phone call away for members of AERA)
