Take a look at /usr/lib/uucp/L-devices (this is, I believe, just like it comes from DEC): ####################### # Sample entries: # #ACU ttyd0 ttyd0 1200 DF03 #ACU ttyd1 ttyd1 300 DF02 #ACU ttyd2 ttyd2 1200 hayes #ACU ttyd3 ttyd3 1200 ventel #DIR tty04 tty04 9600 direct Note ttyd2. We're using a hayes Smartmodem with no problems. I don't know how to convince uucpsetup to do this, however. I did my uucp set up by hand. -- Patrick Peters UUCP: ut-sally!im4u!ti-csl!tifsie!pat Texas Instruments sun!texsun!ti-csl!tifsie!pat PO Box 655012 M/S 3635 uiucdcs!convex!smu!tifsie!pat Dallas, TX 75265 Voice: (214)995-2786
