Does anyone with HP portable experience know whether any of the subsequent versions of the HP laptops use the same battery? According to the docs for the 110, the dead part is a "6-volt, 2.5 Ah gelled lead acid battery pack". Sound familiar? They also suggest that you "do not attempt to incinerate or mutilate the battery pack" . . . I haven't yet, but I'm about to.
