    A friend of mine has just bought a Model 30 with one 3 1/4
    floppy and a (I never saw one of these before) 3 1/4 20Meg
    hard drive.   
    For transfering between his multi-bus MS-DOS machine and it,
    he would like to add a 5 1/4 floppy to the Model 30.  IBM
    sells the controler card for $60, and the drive for about
    $360.  The question is; Can a regular Tandon or Teac or the
    like drive be used on this controler?  You can ussually find
    those drives for $70, thus saving quite of bit of money...
