Multitech is not only a great modem, it is a great company.
After receiving my free MNP 4, I found it would not connect
to any US Robotics modems in RELIABLE mode. I called
their tech support yesterday and let them know.
   Jeff Davis of Multitech called to thank me and
admitted the bug in the firmware and said he had shipped me
another prom.
     
Information:
   If you have an older than 7/29/87 MNP 4 firmware from
Multitech, call for a newer one. They have shipped about a
thousand or so with the bug. If you dont have MNP 4 yet, call them,
it is free.
