A serial Microsoft mouse and driver work fine on port #2. However, Kermit (v2.29) running on either port always echoes back characters, even with no serial cable attached - no signals appear on the ports, according to my breakout box. The "technical" support staff at Club-AT don't even have Everex tech manuals, and tech support at Everex wasn't any help either (why do companies think they can sell ATs like they're selling washing machines?). Any help anyone can suggest on this would be greatly appreciated - the machine works very well otherwise, leading me to suspect this version of Kermit. In addition, where can I get info on the AMI Bios supplied with the machine (any hidden features, hooks) or tech info on the Everex box? thanks, mark princeton!siemens!biggers
