It's the most popular word processor around the university, so we thought it would make life easier on the host. Basically you can use it via DECnet, but have to use a new command set. Otherwise the keyboard must be remapped to make the VAX WordPerfect emulate what users are used to on the PC. Our communications package is kermit from Columbia U. We've set up a wp.cmd file which performs the key redefinitions. If anyone wants a copy, let me know. It works fine. Due to a few kermit limitations, a couple of keystroke commands are different but it's fundamentally the same. Nice to not have to bother with another editor. David J. Buerger Director, P.C.
