Waterloo, Ontario Lines: 12 You folks astound me. What world do you live in? In the real world, there are lots of other constraints in choosing a chip than what the architecture looks like to software. The appearance of the architecture is important, but it's only one of several constraints. It is for the other constraints that IBM selected the 8088, and I have yet to see a serious argument as to how they could have selected the 68000 at the time. -- Brad Templeton, Looking Glass Software Ltd. - Waterloo, Ontario 519/884-7473
