I don't spend a lot of time with termcaps but it strikes me that the entry is very dependant on the software one is using on the xt to communicate to the system or if running Xenix or something then the device driver installed such as ansi.sys or fansi or nansi etc. If you are using a remote system then you are using terminal software and in general that software emulates SOMETHING (ie some type of terminal). Maybe I am missing something in the original question asking for a termcap entry for an XT. Maybe someone would be kind enough to spell it out to me in real simple english. tj
