We have an Intel FORTRAN compiler, and MS-BASIC interpreter, neither of which work. The FORTRAN compiler never has worked, it just kills itself. After considerable trouble we have learned that the compiler needs almost 900K to run. Groan, wish we had known that before. We really cant afford $2000 for more memory. (This is also the reason the latest version of XENIX cannot be installed.) So ... Does anyone know of a smaller FORTRAN compiler that we could use? We dont need anything too fancy. Could we use the MS compiler we have for an AT? After all the Intel compiler has a switch for producing MS object files. (I know, this borders on a stupid question.)
