You can preserve the virgin state by clicking OK without entering anything.
Or, if you enter a single Option-Space for each, the program won't display
anything on startup but won't ask you for ID each time either. Personally,
I think they should've dropped this silliness like they did in 3.00.

Well, uh huh, sort of. If you print multiple copies, it's fixed. If you
select several files in the finder and use it's PRINT command, you get
one print job for each original file, with other appletalk users able to
get jobs in the queue between yours.]

Yeah, but they still don't use the standard setup dialog box, so the new
laserwriter options aren't there.

Yet another feature that has been partially and confusingly implemented. If
you ever wonder why "Font Substitution" either a) allows you to check it but
doesn't do the substitution (thereby filling up your LW memory with copies of
Chicago and Geneva, etc.) or b) simply disables checking, you have just
discovered that "Font Substitution" and "Fractional Widths" are mutually
exclusive.

Also, simply printing a file marks it as modified, a bug holdover (in my
opinion) from 3.00. However, they let you in on what they really are doing by
asking if you want to save the repagination of that file. You still have to
click "no" to saving changes of a file where all you did was print.
