Summary: Mouse balls


I believe a recent issue of "MacUser" (it has a picture of a Mac SE on
the cover) had a tip on replacing worn mouse balls.  A reader
suggested gluing in BB's (those small ball bearings shot at squirrels
and young children with air guns) in the old slots.  The tip in the
magazine included a diagram.  Hope this helps.
