For 30Meg, I would say so.  I haven't seen any cheaper.  This month,
MacConnection is running a hardware special on 20Meg Rodime drives.
Complete with cable and backup software for $569.  They are fanless
(read "no noise") and are extremely reliable.  Rodime offers toll free
assistance and extended warranty also.   Check out your MacUser
MacConnection advertisement.  I plan on getting one at the end of this
week.  I have heard nothing on the reliability factor of Novae.

Of course, this is assuming you will sacrifice 10Meg to save $100....
